About this audiobook
When one story ends, another begins. The sequel to the beloved New York Times million-copy best seller Me Before You.
How do you move on after losing the person you loved? How do you build a life worth living?
Louisa Clark is no longer just an ordinary girl living an ordinary life. After the transformative six months spent with Will Traynor, she is struggling without him. When an extraordinary accident forces Lou to return home to her family, she can't help but feel she's right back where she started.
Her body heals, but Lou herself knows that she needs to be kick-started back to life. Which is how she ends up in a church basement with the members of the Moving On support group, who share insights, laughter, frustrations, and terrible cookies. They will also lead her to the strong, capable Sam Fielding - the paramedic whose business is life and death and the one man who might be able to understand her. Then a figure from Will's past appears and hijacks all her plans, propelling her into a very different future....
For Lou Clark, life after Will Traynor means learning to fall in love again, with all the risks that brings. But here Jojo Moyes gives us two families, as real as our own, whose joys and sorrows will touch you deeply and where both changes and surprises await.
After You is quintessential Jojo Moyes - a novel that will make you laugh, cry, and rejoice at being back in the world she creates. Here she does what few novelists can do - revisits beloved characters and takes them to places neither they nor we ever expected.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Not much happened in the book, would have liked more romance.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I originally had refused to read this book leaving Will behind but this is a beautiful continuation. I’m happy for Lou and her new adventure. I’m glad the book took this turn.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The booklet so good and the narrator made it so much better!
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5The idea was great. That's all I have to say....
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Enjoyed the plot and seeing Louisa's growth as a character.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Not as good as the first book but still loved every minute of it!
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I don't know about the story itself, but the narrator sounds like she is talking through a can. It is very frustrating. ?
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5As is usual with Jo Jo Moyes this book hits the perfect note between literary fiction and mass produced novels. The plot is well thought out and definitely held my interest throughout. The characters fully realized and sympathetically drawn, not just props to enable the main characters and storyline. Everyone feels real and I felt as if Louisa's family and friends could be my own. At the conclusion, I found myself already missing Sam, Lily, Trina and all the others. Great read, or actually,
listen in my case! - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I was afraid to ruin the feel of the movie, ME BEFORE YOU by listening to this novel. I was immediately captured by the narrator and completely lost myself in the Louisa Clarke we’ve come to know. It was so good I missed sleep and even skipped making my husband’s lunch in order to maintain the continuity to the end. Absolutely worth your listening!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Beautiful! I loved the storyline and the characters. Beautifully written, captures the heart!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I just loved the narrator. She did a wonderful job with the different character voices and she never let the story drag. It was wonderful to see how the lives of all of those who lived Will Traynor picked up their lives and carried on without him. It showed that the dying have it easier in some way because they don't have to exist without their loved ones like the living do.
Some people that have read Me Before You felt that was enough of an ending for Lou, but I needed more and this story did that for me. I truly hope the she and Sam get a complete HEA!
There were tears but laughter too, suspense, angst and great story for Lou to tell us.
I'm glad she came out on the other side of crushing grief and found love and happiness. ❤️? - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Good follow up to the first! A few predictable places but overall great story.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I really enjoyed this book and above all the voice was incredible!
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I will forget this book and make up my own story about what happened to Louisa after the first one. I can't make it clearer than that.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Maybe the book is good but I could not continue linstening to it because the narrator's british accent was so strong that it was diffucult to understand. Sad I wasted my credit in it :(
